Joey is always energetic in school all the time. When he was on the field trip he has been running and crashing through the cornfield with his arms out like the wings of an airplane or like the wings of a bird.
Joey is totally energetic! I agree with you Charlie. I thought the author, Jack Gantos, did a great job describing the scene in the cornfield. I could totally see him running like a bird, crashing into things.
